For some reason there was a pathing bug when Trojan spawned and he couldn't find my base.

 

So with about 6 minutes left on the game loss clock I had to abandon my base and go find him which caused my base to fall.

 

I still won the game however.

Base by yourself is the requirement however most have played alone.

It doesn't matter what they are doing provided they do not interfere with your game. The only exception is there presence which will reduce the amount of Creeps/Bosses that come your way. This will also rank you much lower than a player who is playing the game 100% alone considering everything will be directed only at them.

Just make sure you glitch the mobs.. by not having any towers or spiked armor, soo the crappy creeps stay at your walls and not allow bosses to reach it or anything harder, Porker

All Creeps have timed life which means you can't always have the crappy creeps stay at your walls... however good tip nevertheless
