because religion is more then just getting people into wars.

Wars come from crazy extremists, which the majority of the world isnt. so being a complete stereotype to the sane people that practice religion is retarded. Religion is more then just a war starter. It gives people the thing that is man's greatest strength, and yet his greatest weakness. Hope.

Basically I guess I'm trying to say that either way, we're fucked because of religion. And we aren't getting rid of religion obviously because that would be utterly impossible.

Yur screwed. if you take both extremes of it.

Extreme one: Go crazy with religion. calling everyone a heretic. and going on a killing spree. big no no.

Extreme two: Take it out completely. You get problem that comes from extreme one from extreme two.

Middle ground: Just. be a normal person. that is "religious" you like to please whoever you consider to be of higher authority. and dont go berserk with it.

There are plenty of people who choose that middle ground or something similar to it.

The fact of the matter is that there will always be that one person or group to take it to one of those extremes.
There isn't a "middle ground" for them.

You can't change people as much as you'd like to...
WE* can't change people as much as WE'D* like to..
