So currently, we're used to when bosses turn up and how difficult they are and prepare accordingly.
What if, they could spawn 5 minutes earlier, but not be as strong? as an example, imagine dreadbane kahn and his earthquake turning up 5 minutes earlier than he does at the moment, but had ~50% less hp to rebalance. Or turning up 5 minutes later with 200% hp along with another boss?
Positives:
With added randomness, it makes each game more different and extra replayability.
Negatives:
Might need some more thoughts into balancing
Can mess up attempts to complete harder difficulties when copying someone elses build or just consider 2 guys playing, 1 has all the stuff at early timings (just from randomness) and is hit pretty badly and loses. The other has them at normal timings which he's used to and wins. Second player is not necessarily better but timings can throw things off. Perhaps this is a positive as shaking stuff up is good.
Any thoughts?
