Large (unique?) broken towers lingering around the fortress.
To be repaired for a small price and upgraded for a big price.

Maybe secret code to claim it? or anyone can claim a broken tower with a command?

EDIT1:
broken towers ontop of fortress walls as suggestion for placement.(invulnerable to make ai possible to ignore invulnerable towers?)

EDIT2:
by making the broken towers unique the less used bases could be made more valueable.

Interesting indeed.
I like the idea.
Currently the AI will not ignore invulnerable and will try to go after it occasionally (see Librarian when almost everything else is dead), but that can be fixed should we add this.
