Hello fellow Survivors.

I write this topic to update you on my situation. I haven't been developing Fortress Survival for a few months now. Officially, the last version to be released was April. There were a lot of new features developed in the 6.77 release that prevented the release.

I understand that most of you are wondering when 6.77 will be released and I honestly cannot answer that. At this point in time, I do not have enough time on my hands to continue the development nor do I really want to. I know there have been many who have donated for custom content or have requested changes to their custom content and have been eager to play the latest version. As such, i owe it to the donators to release the latest version with said changes however, I haven't been employed for some months now, been struggling financially and between moving to the middle of nowhere and being busy with other projects, I have put Fortress Survival on hold so to speak.

I am making this topic to spark what has clearly been missing. Reasons for me to continue developing Fortress Survival. Anyone interested in this project is welcome to reply below or contact me via PM. I'd like to think that with the right interest and motivation, I can get back into developing this project. With the newest changes to WarCraft III, it'll be interesting to say the least.

Hopefully the readers of this topic will understand where I'm coming from.

note: just fixed some breakage from the last w3 patch yesterday.

 

also should add some notes in game about the save codes directory and token file directory changing locations (thx blizz, i really appreciate you breaking the map for all our users.. totally...)

Thanks for updating us on your current situation Nevo, i for one think you should take as much time as you need. If you enjoy working then your work will show that right? 

 

Hope you get into a better spot soon since you deserve it for all the fun you've given this community over the years. (and the others who work on the map ofc)

Take your time, we will all be waiting! Not sure if i have the time to help on the project, but i am willing to donate some extra if that helps. I actually wished for a custom hero + alchemist for this christmas, so i have something to look forward to the new version .
