I love all the new Hero's that have become available,  recently I tried one (can't remember which one) whom had magic type damage.   Which is cool and all, until the last three bosses...  whom become magic immune after so much HP, making my magic damage hero useless... And if the end bosses don't tear down your walls your basically doomed for a nuke unless you have super OP towers [maybe]...   Figured you guys should know...

It has been known for a while, if you explore more "bug or general discussion" sections of this forum. Just like it is unlikely to "solo and kill" Tyrant by just regular hero abilities without any buff or item. The normal growth of a hero with bookshelves can only reach 2000+stats which doesn't help much to be the main damage output you have. Magic weapon attack for heroes such as Shaman and Crystal Maiden(?) are balanced by faster attack speed or impressive tangle or area of effect abilities. You can still use those heroes to fight bosses that are magic-immune by equipping Magna Fist, but the attack speed will be very slow; ultimately, just buy weapons for any other unit from Mercenary HQ.

100% magic immunity is a bad idea imo in the first place..

i think its basically Avatar state from mountain king tho.

 

also the fact hero damage is more effictive than many other damage types against bosses is rly bad for balance i think, it makes towers less useful since its so hard to kill priority targets with them. 

 

it could be ok if heroes did very little damage to anytyhing else i guess but that would just be way too weird..

Obviously you fail to understand the basics of Warcraft III damage system.  Or you misunderstood my report...  Prove to me you can solo using magic damage hero then...  But I know, I'm the guy you luv to hate...   You FilthyRat you      Hate on Hate on

Doesn't matter, I don't take it personally, I'm not everyone's brand of tea...

Even still I'm just trying to do my best to help FSA keep on being one of those epic maps that will last forever....   and it makes me sad to see the current version in such a state...  I miss the days when one could solo nightmare w/o having to cheat like a mother...  Hell, half the time my builder die on the intro cinematic (seems random, not so much if you load it with extra comp players, then its almost a certainty)...  I wonder who in the world is keeping tabs on these things nowadays :unsure:

Sadly it can't be me as I have computer/internet issues...   but I really wish certain things would get a fix before we just quit updating it for forever, the magic damage hero thing is like a glass jaw, he can be boss until the end, and then you realize how worthless he is, and you just wasted a game [bang head].  And maybe need to create builders a little later than what is in the current, first 5 seconds are just the intro deal anyways, and imagine waiting 2 minutes to load a map only to die before you can do anything :blink:

I don't hate you! But seriously the magic damage can be a bit frustrating. I would rather have a nerfed normal damage hero then a buffed magic damage hero.

 

P.S fix that damn bug at the start PLEASE

if u get tower upgrades u can win without units even tho its def more of a pain.

u rly mostly use hero to get massive dps without using a lot of base space so as long as u got thje dps from another source u dont need him.

 

elem stone makes heroes rly cheap to buff tho.. just need kills

 

i doubt u can kick eternias butt without a hero tho.
