MODES LIKE EASY AND NORMAL ARE ACCEPTABLE!

 

 

 

CONTEST START DATE:  April 19

CONTEST END DATE:  December 31

 

 

 

• FOLLOW THESE STEPS IN THE BEGINNING:
  
  1.) FIND A BASE/SPOT ON THE MAP TO CALL HOME.
  - You can Only Claim Once and/or Share a Base with other Player(s).
  
  2.) DO NOT BUILD/PLACE ANYTHING EXCEPT BUILDING A COMMAND CENTER.
  
  3.) NO ACHIEVEMENTS/ITEMS ARE TO BE USED INCLUDING COMMAND CENTER!
  
  4.) YOU MUST KILL YOUR BUILDER & ALCHEMIST UPON BUILDING COMPLETION.
  - BE READY TO KILL THE UNDEAD HUMAN THAT SPAWNS ABOVE BUILDER'S BODY.
  
  5.) YOU ARE REQUIRED TO AT-LEAST SURVIVE UNTIL WAVE 25 BEGINS.
  
  6.) IF YOUR COMMAND CENTER BUILDING DIES, YOU CAN BUY/PLACE A NEW ONE.
  
  7.) NO BARREL PICKUPS, EASTER EGGS AND/OR EXPLOITS OF ANY KIND.
  
  8.) PLAYERS USING CUSTOM HEROES WILL RANK TOWARDS THE BOTTOM!
  
  9.) USING TINKER HERO FOR BUILDING IS NOT ALLOWED!
  
  10.) ALL ITEMS CAN ONLY BE PURCHASED FROM THE FOLLOWING:
  - UNDERWORLD GATEKEEPER VENDOR (center)
  - FORGE MASTER VENDOR (top left)
  - GORBAS VORSHK VENDOR (top left)
   
• REQUIRED:  Submit at-least 3 Screenshots through-out the game.
                        - First Screenshot must capture selection of Modes
                        - Additional Screenshots must capture something cool
   
• REQUIRED:  Submit WarCraft III Replay by Uploading/Attaching File.
   
• REQUIRED:  Submit Entry Using the Final Version of 6.76 - 6.80!
  
   
• OPTIONAL:  Defeat All Final Bosses Including Eternia!?
   
• OPTIONAL:  Upload Recorded Video of Gameplay/Replay to YouTube.
                        - Fortress Survival must be included in the title!
                        - Fortress-survival.com must be linked in the description!
                        - WarCraft III Replay and Screenshots are still required!
   
• OPTIONAL:  Submit Multiple Entries For Better Chances At Winning!
                        - Only The Best Entry Will Win (You can only win once)

I've tried it and you can get pretty far on difficulties like easy and normal, the goal isn't to try to beat the game on impossible or nightmare...

 

You really just do the best you can, in this kind of contest the winners will probably only have played on Normal or at most Mad.

 

We really want everyone to be creative with this contest. Try to find ways to make it easier for you, maybe playing with people in your game that are walling (just don't chill in their base), play with a friend who also is a hero, maybe one of you is a melee hero and the other plays as medic to heal you... The medic will definitely be a useful tool to do well in this contest.
You can only build ONE command center, then you kill your builder. If your command center dies, you can try to buy another one (if you have the lumber) at a vendor somewhere on the map. Note: You can only buy from one of the vendors that Nevo mentioned above, and you can buy anything from them.

 

Quests do require the builder to be alive and therefore cannot be completed :/

Hi, this is miavita,

Easy, Ground only, Visible, Normal Boss, 6.76 Official Released. Time run out at Trojan.

Comment: probably the easiest/most lazy way to play Easy mode with amount of kills guaranteed. However, it's impossible to kill Trojan this way if you choose not to accept the Security Room Quest to protect Mr. Saunders and the Vault. (Question: The vault counts as building or unit? Because it can be healed by medic with only 1 ability, and even if you exile yourself, it will be exiled to middle, you just cannot see or control it but monsters can).

 If you blink around the map, place an sentry ward (item to see invisible unit) somewhere on the map, monsters will gather around it as they were set to find enemy but cannot see/attack it. That way you can control where to find most units to kill.

Mind if I ask something ? First if we can upgrades units or the free tower or barricades + can we use the free vendor in security room ?

No for the item vendor  because of rules 10 but you can upgrade the free wall and engineer

Base: Abandon village & Military base (We use military base as the main base)

Heroes: Astronomer & Shaman

 

We manage to kill trojan and najort but for behemoth its impossible to kill him. Spell immune + normal attacks wont do a thing even astronomers inferno cant damage.

 

We save gold from boss to buy rainbow staff ^^

Trojan destroyed our base before we manage to kill him and forgot to get a screenshot of him :3

hello, its my second attempt to do contest hero frenzy as best. this time i used millitary base quest and body parts from cemetary. died exactly at the start of 25 wawe. i think i will try to make this contest video one more time

hello. its again me i tryed impossible mode one more time. that time it was beter i died at wawe 30 because got stunted by water revenat and couldnt move  at the start i forgot to kill my alchemist but killed it later. the strongest boss i could kill was deadbane khan.
