Hey, am I the only one who has experienced that sometimes the repair engineers won't repair the walls? I have been having this problem quite a few times, and I die because of it. If I want them to repair the wall, I have to manually set them to do it.

they can only repair/build 1 target at a time, so if u use them to speedbuild mills this is only natural..

he means after you upgrade the engineer u need to manually use the repair option to make it repair your wall.they can only repair/build 1 target at a time, so if u use them to speedbuild mills this is only natural..
this has been a bug for a very long time. ot maybe it was meant to be on purpose

well @ i wish a trigger can be made for auto detecting and help *fast build* every few secs......
it was troublesome to reclick everything when i accidentally stopped building / tinker uprades or the boss used stuns or something ~.~

I know they can only repair one at a time, but I had 2 to repair 1 wall, and 2 to repair another wall.. The problem is, that I had to manually select the repair ability on the 2 because they were not repairing at all, it happend in the early game where I did not have any repair bots.

bug?
this is a fundemental property of how all warcraft repairs work. we do exactly the same thing as 99.99% of all other warcraft maps.
if you would like it to do something different, you should stop making bug reports because they will all be flagged "working as intended", you should make a feature request and put a poll on it or sth. you need a different approach for bugs and features if u want stuff done.

Not if you use the auto toggle, then they should automatically repair something within reach. The ability description from the campaign, and other "normal" maps have the auto toggle, where they repair anything within reach. This is what I know of, I'm not 100% sure, I don't make maps etc, but with the experience from playing 10 years of WC3 this is what I think. But yeah, if you say it's not a bug, I trust you.

the issue is repairing and building are basically the same thing. so if it is /building/ a mill and a nearby wall is damaged it wil lnot repair it because it is already busy /repairing/ the mill because they are treated as if they are the same thing.
we could change this with some effort ofc.. but.. effort..
submit a patch
