I was thinking maybe there should be an ability where if you activate it (on the alchemist ofc). It will follow you around maybe even blink where you do when pressing it again it stops following you.

This would be pretty useful, especially in the beginning when the player spawns with an alchemist and needs to move them both to a base quickly.

Will be useful to slower players like me. That may be the difference between the life and death for my alchemist you know.

Sorry to disagree. But if you can't control 2 units at the start, I don't want to see what your base looks like after 30mn. I don't want to be mean there, just saying that controlling your alch and your survivor is a really basic thing of the game, and it's even better if the game forces you to do so at the beginning by not doing your work at your place (and I'm not even mentionning the noticable dev time it would take to implement that)
Edit: Or, probably easier to code, you could add a spell to the alch that tp to the survivor (but I still think it is not necessary, but if you really want such a thing, that could be activated only when the difficulty isn't too high, like normal and below)

The spawned alchemist will automatically follow your Builder In 6.53+.
If you blink out of range (outside the Fortress while gates are closed), he will cease following.
Likewise if you tell him to do something, he will no-longer automatically follow your Builder.
