I decided to make this thread to help every user of this website with a common problem known as a slow windows operating system. Usually this occurs because your machine hasn't enough resources to keep up with the configuration and tasks you are requesting it to do. This typically happens if you buy a computer with a preinstalled operating system that comes bloated with things you don't need/will use, and what's worse, they are running and taking up valuable resources! The alternative happens when you have never done any maintenance on your operating system and have been using it for quite some time which over the course of your usage have acquired software with a crowded configuration and your resources are unable to support that. In either case, you can fix this and you don't have to re-install! Reverting back to factory settings for those with a pre-built purchased computer is a bad idea because 90% of the consumer computers sold come with bloated garbage, so you're best bet is to stick with a clean operating system or cleaning it yourself.

 

This topic is going to focus on how to clean your computer while at the same time optimize it to better performance. The very first step involves you downloading Advanced System Care Professional 7. I've taken the liberty to provide a download link for this since its an older version with the product key I will be providing. You don't really want the newer one anyway because version 7 will be more than enough plus if you really want to know.. the newer version uses more resources and has gone metro. Not a fan of either reasons and if you really want the newer version, I have a product key for that as-well, just PM me.

 

Installation / Configuration

  1.)  Download the software provided via this link.

 

  2.)  Launch advanced-systemcare-setup.exe.

        

  3.)  Select Run

  8.)  Select Next (you can change directory path if you want)

  9.)  De-Select all Additional icons

10.)  Select Finish (You can close the Browser Page that it automatically opens)

 

11.)  Select Next

 

12.)  Select Homepage Protection Settings and configure your Browser Preferences

 

13.)  Select Turn on Protection (You can select Settings and fix issues by preference)

 

14.)  Select Next

16.)  Select your choice of theme and language and then Select Start Now

17.)  After you are done, or when you are almost close to the end, a reminder about the newer version along with Driver Booster 2 Free will be offered.

        De-Select Install Driver Booster 2 Free and Select Finished

18.)  Now your Advanced SystemCare 7 will launch and at the bottom left, you will see an option to Select All

19.)  Automatically, the Quick Settings will pop open and you need to Toggle everything to the On position.

20.)  You can configure your Ultimate Tuneup to Top Performance for Computer optimization and Network Optimization will vary depending on your type of connection (Lan meaning plugged in by cable)

21.)  Select Ok once you are finished with the Quick Settings and the program activation will popup. Download the  Product Key.txt   123bytes   19 downloads and activate.

Optimization / Cleaning

22.)  Select SCAN and watch the magic happen. You can wait for it to be finished and then hit the Repair button or you can select Automatically repair and check back when its done.

23.)  Select Toolbox and then Select Registry Cleaner, Once Opened, scroll down all the way and Select Deep Scan, then Select Scan

24.)  Once your Registry Cleaner has finished scan, Select Fix selected problems and then select Fix Now when prompted.

25.)  Back in Toolbox, Select Startup Manager and disable unnecessary programs you don't need starting up every time you boot windows. If you are not sure what it is, google it or PM me.

 

26.)  Select Turbo Boost, then Select Configure, then Select Game Mode and Select Next.

27.)  Now you can additionally disable services and applications you see if you are familiar with them and don't use them, but the default configuration is plenty for most.

 

        Near the end, it's going to ask you about a Power Plan which basically is one that never dims or turns off your screen. You can use it or keep your current power plan, it's up to you.

 

28.)  Select Turn on Turbo Boost at Windows Startup and Select Apply.

Uninstalling

29.)  Back in Toolbox, Select IObit Uninstaller (It's going to popup asking you to update to Uninstaller v4.

 

        You can still use the older one however you can also download Uninstaller v4 for free from their website.

 

30.)  The best part about this Uninstaller is that it as an option to either automatically or manually check both all files and the registry for any leftovers...

  

        You'd be surprised how many programs, even from reputable companies leave garbage behind after uninstall.

 

        It also offers a restore point before uninstalling so that you can undo the changes if something unexpected happens. 

 

31.)  Once launching Uninstall and completing the necessary steps via the program's uninstaller, Select Powerful Scan. (You can select Powerful scan in automatic for future-use)

32.)  After Powerful Scan does it's job, Select Select All in the bottom left corner and Select Delete. It will ask for confirmation, Select Yes.

33.)  With Uninstaller, you are also able to get rid of any Toolbars & Plugins which helps keep your Browsers running at their best.

 

        Spyware and Malware are very popular in the form of a Toolbar/Plugin.

Advanced System is <sweet> 
Used to take me 2 mins to load FSA  now is 72 secs, but ....  like   way better!!

 

I highly recommend installing/running this program it auto-fixes a great deal of problems with the click of a button.
