Perks Hero Towers Item Rewards

I've got a few suggestions

Index:

 

-Perks

 

-Hero suggestion

 

-Towers

 

-Item Rewards

 

 

For the Perks I'd like to adress this isn't about extra's but about all perks on means of the map script.

As it is now all perks, donator names etc are directly retrievable in the map script (Jass-file) and thus easy to find any valid name to spoof to, same for

the codes and the rewards.
I'd suggest to take these out of the script and simply refer to them and save the data in .SLK files.
These can be made in Excel and the data can be referenced to in the script. This'd allow a much more structured map and better protection of the donators and other players.

 

 

 

Next: Item Rewards (both in game as donation). As it seems now we... (the players) will encounter the problem that not all our items can be loaded with our code due to the limit of 6 slots in warcraft. I'd suggest a non-dropable "inventory" item with # menu's of ingame rewards and # menu's of donation perks/rewards of which # refers to the ammount of "inventory menu's" are needed to hold all possible rewards that there are for each category as well as ones that might come. This could be a GUI menu or just a toggle for inventory slot - itemholders.

 

 

Then I'd like to adress my Hero Suggestion: (insert name here) a hero that can manipulate or add stats to structures. Why? Because as it seems to be now towers seem to become less and less usefull due to the many hero buffs, so I thought... What about a hero that can add stats to towers and such? Or structures in general? (These "buffs" could be specific to a type of structure or overall and this got me to the topic...

 

 

 

Towers: I thought that this hero could also be used to "combine" towers or something similar... Such as combining a tower with poison and frost to become a even better slow tower with a greater notable effect.... Or to add more towers and instead of having a builder with a menu stuffed with towers, a few general towers with multiple upgrading paths. Such as "Regular towers",  "Effect towers", "Anti Boss towers", "Anti air", .... not only to structurerize but also to leave place for more towers and/or expand strategies. Instead of the generic build paterns that single out towers that'll most likely be removed due to their rare usage.

 

 

I'd like to end my suggestions here for now and I hope these will be appriciated.

Towers got a pretty good buff in 6.43, dunno if you have played the betas or not yet (they're on MMH), but yeah they have been made better and can do pretty good damage if you build correctly.

From the sound of this... Sounds like you know a bit about map making! Or smart enough to figure it out.
