It might be cool if there's a new wall types that might be useful.  :D

I know there's 2 wall types in the game.

-Energy Wall - Regenerate health.

-Barricade - Just a normal wall.

Here's my idea for the game:

-Flaming Wall - Burn enemy unit when near to this wall. (except Fire Destroyer)

-Ice Wall - Slow the enemy unit's speed and attack speed when this wall attacked. (except Ice Destroyer)

-Poison Wall - When this wall attacked. the enemy unit will be poison.

-Shadow Wall - has ability "Evasion"

-Magical Stone Wall - If a siege unit attack this wall. the siege unit's damage were reduced. (Except bosses)

 

(All those walls idea required a lumber cost or gold cost or both. It's up to you how cost is the wall to be built.) 

 

New Ability:

- Wall build Menu - Enable to build a different wall when switched. (Only available at Survivor)

 

That's for my ideas in future version..  :P

The problem with these ideas are that I feel like the other walls you listed would completely replace barricades and not only that, more goes into a wall than thinking of a unique offensive or defensive ability. The wall has to have a unique property to it... for example Barricades get less armor than energy walls but get more health so are therefore repaired quicker by repair units. I would like to see a different wall that has it's own strategy behind it but I haven't been able to think of something.

Oh.. then that means all players will use those ideas wall as replacement or somthing?

If yes. then its ok when you don't want that happen by all those wall I plan wouldn't be

presented in future version.

I more than anyone want to see a different type of wall that you can use that has a unique style behind it like barricade overall is a very solid wall. It's strong at the beginning, middle and end of the game. But there could be a different wall that might be a little worse at the beginning and stronger later on or a little stronger early on and not so much as the game progresses but a unique property has to be thought of for a new wall to be possible. When thinking of a new wall you have to ask yourself... How is this wall going to be special but why are some players still going to opt to use barricades over this? What advantages does it have? What disadvantages? Barricades have more health/less armor than energy walls. Energy walls have less health and more armor and so on

 

I personally would like to see bunkers branch off and actually become a wall because you could use bunkers as main walls and then put a light scout in your bunker without worrying about it dying. If bunkers could be worked with to become a fully capable defensive wall that would be cool to see something other than energy/barricade

You're right. Barricades and Energy walls are more useful than the other idea walls.

It's a shame when someone will replace barricades or energy walls.

I'm pretty sure the Barricades and Energy walls will stay on top than the idea wall.

Also. I didn't notice bunker can be as a wall :P

bunker's tier's run out first so they arent useful long term walls.

They do run out quick I think the last tier of bunker costs only like 124 lumber to upgrade so I think the last bosses you would really kill with bunkers would be like shadow of chaos if you used them for your main walls. If the last tier only costs 64 lumber then they wouldn't even make it that far. I feel like since bunkers are already in the game they have the best chance of being the next fully capable defensive wall because all that needs to be done is having additional tiers added. But if bunkers add different tiers added why would people still use barricades? That is, what are the differences between barricades and bunkers? I know that bunkers have a passive spiked walls a ability and a health regeneration ability but they have more health than barricades, do they have less armor though? -- Would be nice to have bunkers be their own end game wall
