How to survive lt stealer depends on the difficulty that you are playing. You can do what I do for nightmare (granite walls, best repair setup, max wall armor, solar batteris/lunar mist/mecha up from team upgrades) but that would be a little overkill for easier difficulties.

On easy difficulty, it's possible to survive him with obsidian walls, high wall armor, and a good repair setup.

Some tips that can be useful on any difficulty...

  • Assassin/frost towers can help slow his attack speed
  • Earth towers will stun him
  • Wizards can polymorph him, stopping him from attacking and removing his evasion while he is polymorphed. They also have a slowing move.
  • Make sure you use regular walls, not regenerating walls for your main wall.
  • If you can reach the library, you can get repair keys for 2 lumber per key. These keys can be placed on a repair statue, and the statue will use them automatically on a wall within range when the wall hits 13% health.

Also, there are guides on this forum that you can look at to find effective repair and lumbering setups. A good wall setup, with plenty of lumber, will let you survive any difficulty without having any towers/units built (excluding nightmare difficulty.)

Do note that a lot of that is changing for 6.43 (soon), like towers are more helpful overall, armor (and nearly all upgrades) are more expensive as you get into the higher tiers, and repair keys are unusable at the point where Stealer would be a threat (costing 200W each).

350w each actually.

yeah youre better off investing that into upgrades :P

it used to be that repair keys were really abused so thats why they will go up in cost now..
