Why dont they auto repair from time to time?

maybe they repair a nearby wall?

maybe u build them too far from walls?

They can only repair one thing at the time. Maybe they have been repairing towers or other building near? Sometimes there's a delay in the game...

also.. they can repair eachother and repair bots.

if you start building somthing, they start repairing but if you stop to go build somthing else and then come back to it they won't auto-repair the half-completed building if that's what you mean

Im pretty sure it's in auto repair mode. No damaged towers at its back. Just walls damaged but it doesn't repair and no mobs attacking those walls. I still need to click which wall it should repair

In rare cases their is a chance that your repair units(not the bots) wont repair at all and you would actually have to click on the repair unit and select the wall while its being damaged to get the repair unit to start but this doesn't really happen alot.

i think repair units start their repair when some building gets damaged.

there are some reasons why a building might get to lower hp without triggering repair (for example the repair unit is upgraded or it was repairing another building at the time damage was received)
