I think it would make fortress survival better if we add more bonuses to bases but also disadventages! like the small base near middle like '-20% dmg for towers but for that its a 1wall base right?

Courtyard. 4walls actually not so bad maybe +5 def for all buildings in courtyard. just ideas More bonuses and disadventages for bases :)! plz.

Excellent. Love it. Obviously bonuses are removed if you unclaim or lose all buildings inside your area.

 

Lets people base almost anywhere, encourages teamwork (seeing more bases are viable if you chain) or to just build next to someone else to cover one exit and take the bonus from somewhere nearby!

 

We might need some suggestions of more bonuses. here's a list i came up with:

More damage to your units/towers

Less damage from all enemies

less damage from bosses only.

Improved lumber generation (can be done in several ways, in some bases possibly even go as far as double income?! otherwise 1 in x chance that you get bonus lumber when you produce lumber)

Bonus experience for heroes who kill units from inside the base.

Extra vision around you base

Allied units spawn inside your base (i'd suggest adding an unbuildable "spawn point" to a base which has this)

Too some weaker ones such as: Reveals invis units, 2 gold added for surviving 10 minutes inside base. +1 armor aura.

Bonus that ive come up with

Wall have Evasion (4 Walls bases)

Mobs/Boss have a chance to critical (Single Wall or Small Bases)

Mobs/Boss have Evasion (2-3 Walls with a lot of towers)

Gives tower a chance to Bash/Crit 

Gives more attack speed to a tower (Single Wall or Small Bases)

Faster Building for Builders

Reduce upgrade time 

More Upgrade Time (Single Wall or Small Bases)

More Building Time (Single Wall or Small Bases)

Faster training units

I'm agree with Jasieknms as always the same bases are used in fs games. Thus, maybe 75% of the bases are generally useless...

 

Need to remove this i think. 

 

 

Personnally, i always play in cottage, courtyard, top right, bot left, storage and 2-3 chainbases with friends.

People dont try different bases because all they have seen is people play the current bases, Maybe if people mixed it up in a while instead of going the easy bases, Alot more bases would be used.

for me, air mode most bases are GG beside corner. tried building wall at corner, but the air units often ignore it
 

but without air mode, many bases can be used depend on how many ppl decided to base together, but there some bases seem like never been used

 

got some bonus or advantage for such bases will encourage ppl using it, especially full house and got ppl claimed hot spot

Zhong, so if you base in corners, it makes it more challenging and more breath-taking :D
