I was thinking once u got lvl 25 u cant lvl more so ive got an idea like a prestige mode (like in call of duty)

once u got the max it can be cool to reset it as lvl 0 but with some kind of a special like u unlock a special unit or anithing else so it will give you more will to lvl

would give more reason to play without all the rank perks ( and without alch at start).

 

has 1 issue tho. this will not be backwards compatible. once u play on a pre-prestige mode it would be lost.

i mean old version is not aware of it, and will not include it in its own save codes.

this means u got prestige 3 rank 8 and save on older map => you now have rank 8 but no prestige.

bots still host 6.00(beta5) for christs sakes.

if you make a map that breaks ur stats every time u play on an older version you just piss off all the players.

ok i got what u mean but u just have to keep 2 save code one with prestige and keep ur first lvl 25 in case u go on older vers

i think once fortress survival gets out of alpha you should use the prestige system, i am a big fan of call of duty and with this on fs makes me wanna play more since if u get something special everytime u presige it would sperate you from the crowd and also make the game funner.

 

a small suggestion, if u basing this off of call of duty then there all 11 prestiges total including master prestiges and to get prestige 11 rank 25 would take a cosslosal ammount of time, if you are usint prestige i think you should lower the max  lvl to 20 or maybe 15 (since u have basically everything and dont need to unlock anything)

So, just lower the max lvl to where you actually stop playing to unlock something (lvl 15).

Nothing, but being a prestige as killquew sugested would give a skill, and being prestige 5 rank 10 looks better then being rank 85

not just lock better but going to lvl 85 without giving something remove some of the fun and restarting a zero give some chalenge too cause u dont have hero and stuff to unlock with lvl
