I think some buildings is a waste of space like, item shop, sentry post, bunker, mercenary tent command center and the aura buildings, I wish the transmute spell work on it so it saves space

It wouldn't work very well..
the minified buildings are a pain to select sometimes and upgrade/merc/shop/etc are buildings that you need to select really often.
If there were other combos (say 4 towers combine into big one) then it could actually have some merit.

I agree. Lets stick with lumber mills only the one available to transmute so it would be more challenging
