Im just in game..
and i noticed sth unexpected.
Light marine 6k HP and 200 attack
Fortress defenders marines in the maze are 1.5k HP and 50 attack..
You can make light marines for free, in masses... on first minute of the game..
not even going to mention stuff that you can get later in the game..
so what is the point of keeping them around? (sinister i know..)

Its like when you make a stall, Its to provide more time depending on difficulty. Easy holds up well normal not as much mad dies quickly but still holds for a while imposs and Nightmare they just die and when you claim a base with them its to give you a earlier on advantage and damage it may not be tons but it helps if they were like the Light Marines you wouldnt ever see the early murloc people or the zerglings or the fire lizards, Light marines are good but you dont have enough wood at the start to upgrade them and they arnt strong enough to even tank, Takes to long to get them out and they cost your early food.

Just wish there was a way to make them valuable again later in the game. Is kind of sad when a human unit is just meant to die off 3 minutes in.
Maybe add some upgrades that work on all NPC-s? but rather expensive.
