We all know about the various spawn points around the map in FS 1. being the basement building that we are introduced to at the start of the map and the others being multiple portals around the map. But why do the bases the mobs go to seem so predictable? Why do certain bases get consistantly rushed or have an insane amount of pressure on them at all points in the game whereas some bases can go upwards to 10-15 minutes with under 10 kills... This definitely affects early game strategy and I feel like the spawning either needs to be somehow balanced or just have the amount of mobs that spawn in general increased with some way to mix up the bases they target. Now, stalls can effective this as well as fortress defenders controlled by DG but those groups of mobs hardly ever hold for long on nightmare. Yet the fact remains that some bases get no pressure while other bases consistantly get a lot of pressure every match. Is there any way to balance the spawning in and outside of the fortress? Nevo.
He changed the fortress's laybrinth-layout into a uniformed layout which messed up the distribution.
But it isn't the end of the world as long as we redo the spawn system again.
When mobs go for a certain base if they run into another base on the way they redirect to that base which is what we should be changing.

It's very hard to do.
