we already have this in the case of reviving into a robot after the research is done and collecting the soul.
Adding an ankh will either:
1. Let you worker die again as the mobs haven't wandered off yet
2. Force you to leave your base anyway and join someone elses, which you may well have done as a robot anyhow.
Although your suggestion has led me to think:
What if you could somehow "collect" the soul from anywhere? you can send it anywhere via the sentry post (or used to be able to), but not many people think of that after they die, i certainly don't.
This will hopefully lead to more "teambases" as such.
I still think we somehow need to promote this more, and the only way i can think of doing this is by:
1. Improving heroes yet more, this means more players are encouraged to use a single base as heroes can defend everything
2. Make build times longer to somewhat force more players in one base to get all the buildings done
So basically i disprove of the ankh of reincarnation, but approve of the general idea of making resurrections easier. One way one map solved this problem is by selecting various areas you can revive to if you pay x amount of gold/wood. Then you can try and setup a new base or join someone elses if you can get there.

I think that we should overall have more shops around the map. When you ahve stuff like that we can put helpful items around shops that ur hero can go get and make even more hero upgrades. We could also start dropping random items for a hero attack and what not around the map. At the new shops around the map we should also be able to buy items like wall armor, people souls, turret upgrades, upgrades for units, new heros? I know this would for sure boost player replay rate!

There is already a function for dead survivors . They die, leave a soul, etc xD

Yeap. Pheng is the only one who has a reincarnation. Why not put it on all bosses ? :3

Blooded Abominationhas reincarnation too and other boss but not boss have reincarnation

Bloody abonimation has reincarnation??!? I never even realized that. I dont even think of him as a boss xD, only as a normal unit . Because he can't even damage my walls .
