I saw on previous post that peope were editing the map to try out new base designs and i wanted to try that but it wont let me open it can someone tell me how to so i can give good suggestions for later vers.

hi, you can't open the map as it is protected.

Like duckne55 said, the map is protected. Only the map developers have the unprotected versions.

well can someone tell me how to protect my maps because im making some new maps nd will probably beta test them online by begining of next year if i have the time

There was a landscape only version somewhere i believe. (spec so ppl can play around with it.)
But it's prob more than a little out of date.. (and maybe not widely spread)

That was available to the public and then made available only to premium members. By todays version, it would be considered highly outdated.

Map Protector was released after the old versions of FS was released.
