Hey guys, I just had a great idea... kind of. This came to me when I was making edits to an old open source survival map that I've been cleaning up for the past few weeks. You should make it so that once a player dies they take control of a random non-boss invader, and every time that they die after they get control of another non-boss invader. That way when someone dies (like a new player or someone really unlucky) they can still enjoy the game, explore the map, and learn strategy from the other players.

We actually have other plans for when a player dies. Currently, our allies and team can pickup your Soul that gets dropped when killed and put it into a Robot they build. This way, you can be revived and still play!

There should be a solution also to increase the damage of your marines after you die and you didn't increase fully the damage of your marine.
like buying an increase in the item shop ?

Maybe you should do both a robot and an enemy unit take over if your robot dies? make the monster in question an enemy to other monsters and allow lvl ups, maybe a skill or two, and useless against bosses?
