Can damage types be listed in tooltips? There was a post on here a while back about the damage types (siege, pierce, normal, etc) having custom values different from standard WC3 values. It would be nice to show players so they know things like pierce only doing 30% to hero armor (or was that fortified?). Either that or just standardize them to be a bit less extreme, so it doesn't have as much impact.

Also, I was thinking it would be nice to have an "assist" tower. Something that could help out nearby players clear mobs in front of their walls. So it would have a very large range (5000 - 10000 or so) but be very expensive/slow building and do about 1/2 or 2/3 damage of other towers. Somewhat special purpose but a good tower to build if you're secure and others are taking more heat.

because you would have to control the assist tower. 24/7.

assist towers would make the game a bit too easy, I think. Five people crowd in one of the outside bases, build nothing but assists in the back, while someone builds accelerators in the front.

wtf? Towers automatically attack the nearest target as long as they are in the unit's Notice Range (Different from range, it's the distance a unit will acquire target automatically).

Also, No support tower. that range is too long.

not really, for example if you set a tower's range to 3000, it will only auto acquire units at 1500 range even if the enemy unit can be seen. it can still be attacked but you must manually do it.

it's called triggers, you should try them they are fun. They make almost anything possible. smile.gif auto targeting is possible. and besides whatever you want to call it when turrets auto fire on targets, i call auto target, but it is not the only thing i call auto targeting.

For example:

Auto Targeting could also refer to Prodigy shooting a black man at a range of 3000 rather than a white man at a range of 1500
