Yay. Fortress Survival has reached a point of maturity where we can debate and not flame. So here are a few guidelines. Just so i can delete and say "I warned you", this debate thing is new, and until the mods can start trusting people debates will have a lot of guidelines.

-Please, Please, i mean really, please. Do not make a "debate" on something retarded, make sure it is something WORTH talking about, not something obscure.

-When you make a debate, be sure to do some research, not just on your side of the story, but the possible other sides. As it will help you in the long-run when it comes down to "debating"

-When you make a debate, make sure that you try to keep it active. Make sure its something people WILL talk about. As the creator of the thread. it is pretty much your job to continue the debate or not.

-Do not flame. When it even gets close to flaming. the debate will be closed and the general subject of the debate will be put on probation (which means no other threads about the same debate can appear)

-If you created a really nice debate (something like abortion) and it dies off. After a while. You are allowed to post it again. with new information if possible.

-Enjoy yourself. Its a debate. Nice way to learn both sides of the story. Dont take it too seriously. but take it seriously enough that you will do research on it.

-When making a debate, try and have some resources that support your topic.

-If you jack up on making debates, you will have to start to ask permission to make a debate.
