Pld is the new file extension blizzard came up with for "PreLoaD file"

There is a new folder in w3 directory; CustomMapData

Going forward all files for w3 maps are only allowed in there

For example, the gamedata and fortress codes directories.

Copy/paste them to be inside that directory

After that, change the extension of the token file to pld, and it should work

Ex: C:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft III\CustomMapData\GameData\FSTOKEN and then SoulSurvivor.token-(numbers).pld

ok so I got it thanx AzZ

you need to open in notepad-save as

save as file type: all files

add .pld to the end of orig filename

save

-cheers

.pld isn't bad maybe we could get an auto-load

save everything to one file (last save)....

it would clean up the fortress codes folder anyway

wish I had access I would write some vJass does just that

but winter is almost gone and I give up caring anymore

gl all best wishes

actually no,

i've lernt up now

if possible could you give me back the password spawn, if it's still a feature, I enjoyed using my password

"Bloodie Hell" don't need case sensitive

token protection is fine, I just curse blizzard for breaking maps in 2017

odds are good a lot of custom maps won't get updated, and are now broken forever [ throw stones at blizzard ]

luv u so much for the Beta :D

I know once I tried my hand at spawn remakes, but I didn't read the manual

now I've read the manual and text macros make sense to me

and I really hate GUI CreateUnit, and I think I keep hitting a limit on actions per thread

due to the many spawn triggers [ maybie ]

'nuff said

checkout gameSpeedAdjustment - that ones a keeper

passwords no longer spawn heroes, all heroes are in the command center now, tho you might need to type the password to enable them.

Heyo, I am also having issues with my token, even though I moved it to CustomMapData and renamed it to .pld it still is not working. I have placed it in multiple files and trying to see if that will work but not any solution yet.

Edit: After adding GameData as one of the files it does now work!

send a screenshot of your folder structure with the folder containing the token file open please.

also note that the actual contents of the file did not chage in any way, only the file name.

by the way windows tends to hide file-extensions.. you might need to do some settings digging to turn off this stupidity so you can see the true filename.*

*given its role in worsening the windows security story it is a good advice regardless of messing with obscure file names.
