I think that if you collect x5 secret barrels that your chances of getting  the rainbow blaster/larceny should increase.  So if I run around and collect them all my odds of getting the rainbow blaster/larceny/stone? can be almost certain.

Also a Super Health Stone could be added to the items you get I think its valuable.

It is random for a reason. If you think about it if you pick up 5 you already have increased chance to get those items.
