Well I don't have that version, but what I assume is happening is that your survivor is having to his building sequence interrupted for a small amount of time, which causes the repair buildings to stop assisting building.

 

All I can say is try to see if there's a similar way to make your repair buildings so that your survivor isn't moved around by the new buildings (I hope that makes some sense).
