Agreed with Avatar: The Last Airbender and sequel Avatar: Legend of Korra.
It's a western cartoon but is similar to Anime. Since it's western, it is voiced in English.

As for Anime:
Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha --> Amazing magic/action fighting scenes. Super emotional at times, great plot/story-line. Do not get let down by magical girls theme.
Kokoro Connect --> Superb romance/comedy with some supernatural elements. Funny and emotional.
Shiki --> Great mystery horror. I consider it an Elfen Lied junior.

Shiki sounds the most interesting to me especially since I love mystery and horror. Aww, that little girl Sunako is so adorable, makes me want to hug her lol ;o but yeah I think I'll definitely have to watch it.
