Anyone else play? Have you tried beating any of the challenges in f9? a good one to try is beating normal/race/30 rounds in under 10 mins. I've done it in about 6, and working on how the heck someone managed it in 4 mins

I posted why i thought it may not be a great idea in your suggestion thread.
I was curious if anyone here had tried it and how "good" people were at it and if they had attempted any of the challenges
for example do race/noob/30 rounds as fast as possible. the fastest done on a previous version was 4 minutes and 40 seconds or something. The closest i've been to that is ~7 minutes. The time "starts" when the first round starts going.
So to make it a bit different, try beating 50 rounds as fast as possible. as round 30-45 do not take long either. 46-49 is pretty easy and 50 is slightly challenging. i've done it in 13 minutes but reckon that's fairly easily beaten.
have a go
will post a few screenshots up for those who've never tried it.

bots acc is: bgn054
here's a few examples of what your start could look like to survive a fairly difficult mode.
rounds 1-3:
basically two towers which do quite a lot of damage but use up a lot of power, so when you kill 5 mobs you may want to add another furnace to make sure they have enough power.
rounds 3-15:
so on this one (there's two screenshots crunched together) you can see i've blocked the exit so they have to run back through my little maze and hopefully die to my tesla on the way.
still, you may find it difficulty with only this, so change the "block" at the top to this:
with this maze, you can get to roughly level 50, presuming you spend plenty of gold on towers.

Play Mineralz if you want. It is exactly like Fortress Survival with this feature.
Sadly i don't think any of the bots auto hosts it anymore, which sucks

This is a very fun map... we should host a public game for this! Hit me up when you see me online, i'd love to host it

I like this game. It is very similar to Gem TD and Sprout TD. I like TD's :3.

nice to see people giving it a try. Perhaps i'll be able to get more free time this weekend. The bot still hosts it, but very few people join it so it never starts :/
MakeMehost has it also and suggest you try that, so you can start when you want. Also not sure if the BGN bot is hosting the most recent version, as it was updated not long ago to fix a lot of the bugs.

the TD with the most replayability to me seems to be YouTD, problem is it needs a lot of luck.
powertowers was a cool concept i just got bored of it after a while... had no idea it was still going tho so maybe ill try it again later

i would like to make a few points pls..
- There are many more aspects to a map than maze-oriented and not. (currently complex power management mechanics as one of the most unique aspects)
- To claim you dislike something without actually playing it implies ignorance and voids any (and all) claims you make.
- Your referring to broad categories implies you have actually never played Power Towers or have no recent memories of the map to lean on. (this necessitates falling back to broad categories, which is basis for this point)
- There has been no prior reference to the map called Defensa Torre celeste in this thread, maybe give us a short description, elaborate on your stance? (you make me curious )
- posting just to say you don't like the map is generally not considered constructive (also resurrecting old posts without good reason is considered bad practise)
