CoD:
- Fast-paced, twitch shooter
- Arcadish gunplay
- Rewards players who rack up the highest killcount
- Focuses exclusively on gunplay
- All playable classes focus on gunplay. There are no support classes whatsoever.
- Teamwork is possible, but is entirely unnecessary to win the game, and it's odd to actually see a team working together in-game.
- Combat is entirely foot-combat. No vehicles as it would slow the pace of the game.
- Guns do not behave realistically
- Static terrain
- Small maps to promote faster gameplay
- The team with the itchiest trigger-fingers win
- Matches last between 5 and 15 minutes
- Multiplayer matches consist of between 8 - 32 players

BF3:
- Slow-paced, team focused strategic shooter
- Realistic gunplay, bullet drop is an example of this
- Rewards players who help team members
- Focuses on teamwork and strategic approaches to battles
- Has support classes with a strong focus on helping teammates out, like the medic who can revive fallen teammates
- Teamwork is almost always essential to winning a game. Teams that do not work together usually lose.
- Gameplay spans foot, ground vehicle, aerial and boat combat. Very strong emphasis on various types of vehicular combat
- Destructible terrain that ensures the battlefield changes over the course of a match
- Maps are huge
- The average match should last more or less 30 minutes to an hour, but can be slightly longer or shorter depending on the teams' skill levels.
- Multiplayer matches support up to 64 players

I vote BF3. Partly due to the fact it is what I play and MW3 is practically an expansion of MW2 with minimal to no changes.

Totally agreed.
MW3 is like MW2.5 to me, due to the minor changes. BF3 is much more interesting wink.gif

I have to agree, on some of your statements/facts.

MW3 Feels too unrealistic to me and feels like a game i played 4 years ago. Battlefield 3 gives you a insight into more realistic warfare and rewards you for beign a teamplayer. Now thats what i really like and its easy to meet new people on there because they have atleast some more manner due to the fact all the kids plays MW3 and dont wanna touch battlefield 3. I have to agree on the fact that BF3 maps are HUGE, But they are not funny. Its like when you start up garrys mod. The terrain is kinda lame and it goes on forever. I can understand that the developers wanted it to feel realistic, But i mean. Some imagination never hurts to have into a game, Its a game afterall where you can put a flying space butterfly whitout anyone complaining really. The other thing is (and this is my personal opinion) the main menu music in battlefield 3 feels really SHITTY, and by that it feels like someone is farting into the microphone. The soundtrack was afterall made by EA, So i can see how the puzzle pieces work together there.

Between i found this video really funny how i think about the soundtrack smile.gif Battlefield 3's music was a unexpected hit.

Well, games are not supposed to be realistic. I vote for MW3 for one reason, most of my friends bought this game and we all play together. If nobody did bought it, I suppose I wouldnt. Anyway this topic has 666 views, thats the only reason I have replayed here. LOLZ I keep on seeing that number ffs.
